Each of these breeds faces the same problem with standard harnesses – the strap or flat leather rubs against their dense undercoat and causes hair loss at contact points. The Soft Chow-Chow is designed specifically for them – the round leather cord has no surface that could rub off the fur.

Round cross-section – one detail that changes everything

The waxed cowhide cord with a reinforced core inside touches the fur at a single point instead of across its entire width. The effect is visible after just a few weeks – the fur at the contact points with the harness is not rubbed or matted.
